Accounts Clerk
at Alpine Elements in Aigue Blanche (France)
A member of staff is required to join our accounts team working from our French office in Aigueblanche. Prior accounting experience is not essential, although preferred.
We can provide all training, so long as you have a head for figures! You must be motivated, organised and have good communication skills with a head for numbers and a penchant for spreadsheets.
Previous accounting experience and knowledge of Sage is preferred but not essential as training is provided.
Spoken French would also be an advantage but again not essential. You must possess a good understanding of computer programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
This is an office based role; it will run 5 full days a week. Time off, or rather - Ski or Ride / Mountain bike time will be at the weekends!
Main duties will include, but not be limited too;
• Load lift pass, equipment and tuition contract information into Resort Sales System
• Ensure weekly resort sales are loaded accurately and timely into Resort Sales System
• Weekly credit card processing
• Check all resort accounts paperwork is submitted weekly
• Reconcile ski pack supplier invoices with Resort Sales System and approve for payment
• Liaise with UK accounts team to ensure timely payment of ski pack suppliers
• Resort petty cash processing
• Staff training at start of season and on-going visits to help resort staff
• Upload invoices to UK server
