Kids Club Leader
at Alpine Elements in French Alps
Working as a Kids Club Leader in a ski resort is the only job where snowman building, sledging and making snow angles is part of the criteria.
You will be mainly required to look after our small holiday makers from 4 -11 years. Enthusiasm, organisation, common sense and a fun approach to your working week is essential. You will need to have a love of children and enjoy working with different children each week.
Our Kids Clubs, powder pups and powder hounds are for children 4 – 11 years. You will assist children at their ski lessons, provide lunch and carry out fun filled snow based activities in the afternoons. You will either be working independently within a chalet or as a team within a dedicated Kids Club space. Your main objective is to make sure both parents and children have a fun filled and stress-free holiday.
Your main responsibilities will be, but not limited to;
• Working as part of a childcare team to provide excellent childcare including some evening babysitting
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and activity packed environment
• Keeping efficient and accurate records of children in your care including following individual child routines.
• Being confident in liaising with parents, giving welcome speeches and providing feedback on a daily basis.
• Being ready to use initiative and ‘stepping in’ when necessary to all parts of the resort team and company.
Requirements
At least 2 years experience working in a childcare setting.
Knowledge of child development and planning age appropriate activities.
Being able to ski is not a requirement but a desire to learn will ensure you make the most of your time living in a ski resort.
